I first read The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffeneger about 2 years ago and fell in love with it. The novel centers around Henry DeTamble, a librarian who has a genetic disorder that causes him to involuntary time travel, and his wife, Claire Abshire, whom he meets throughout different times in her life as he travels. The novel is a bittersweet mix of sadness and romance that grabs you from the first chapter.
The novel has been made into a movie starring Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams.
I hope that they don't change too much of the book for the movie.
From the trailer, it looks pretty good, except that the book was alot more dark, and not as "chick flick" as they're making it out to be...
Plus, Eric Bana is so sexy and rugged.
